CSCC Edmonton was planted in the year 2014, with a focus on reaching Filipino families in the Edmonton area where there is a large Filipino population.  The church started as a small cell group, meeting in the basement of the pastor’s home but has now grown to a size of 60 people. The church is becoming well-known in the Filipino community and people from a wide range of religious backgrounds are joining the church, being reached with the Gospel.

The church is known as a place of vision and leadership, where congregants come for guidance and fellowship.  It is an evangelistic church with a missions focus.

The congregation moved into a new building in December of 2015.  This new building gives the growing church space for their needs, and establishes a more permanent base.  The church is very excited about the potential for growth that the new location provides.

Pastor Frederick Aragonte is the pastor of CSCC Edmonton. He is a native of the Philippines and lived in Singapore for 5 years before moving to Edmonton in the year 2012. While in Singapore, he led the Training and Equipping Department of the Filipino Congregation.
