Cornerstone planted our first CGN church in the state of Gujarat, India in 2011, after Pastor Vimal Parmar completed his training in Bible School. The church started with only one family but has since grown to 200 people stretching across four congregations. The church has tremendous evangelistic zeal and has seen God’s blessing on her work.
Much of our work in Gujarat comes from foreign workers who were saved in Singapore and then returned back home. We have a few pastors-in-training in seminary in India, who will be helping to build the network and extend God’s Kingdom in India.
CSCC Dimapur, our second base of CGN Churches in India was planted in Nagaland in 2014 under the leadership of Pastor Abe Rhakho. These churches reach out to the unreached people group, training converts, planting churches and establishing bible schools.
Pastor Vimal Parmar is a Hindu convert who was born-again in the Cornerstone Telegu Fellowship in Singapore in the year 2009. He leads four of our churches in India, in the state of Gujarat.
Pastor Abe Rhakho pastors our church in Nagaland. He has been in ministry for over 20 years and has trained hundreds of pastors in some of the most inaccessible parts of the world.
