Cornerstone’s work in Uganda started with a 15-minute conversation between Pastor Yang and Pastor Aloysius in 1994.  That inspired Pastor Aloysius to start a church under the name, Cornerstone.  Since then, the church has grown and now a network of 24 churches with a total of almost 3,000 people.

One of the great needs in Uganda is solid Bible teaching, as Christianity is widespread but yet corruption abounds.  Our Bible schools in Uganda have had more than 700 graduates since 2005.  These schools stretch the capital city, Kampala, to the far western region of Uganda.

Our Cornerstone Primary Schools continue to reach hundreds of children on an annual basis.  These schools are supported through the Cornerstone Kids Sponsorship Programme.  Thousands of children who otherwise would not have been able to go to school have successfully completed their primary education.
